I reformatted from vista to xp and I can't get the internet to work. I did some research and found out that I needed to update drivers, but I'm having a hard time finding which ones I need to get. I looked at my net work adapter and it says somethine about 1394 Net Adapter, or a Realtek RTL8168D/8111D PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Adapter, or RTL 8211/8212. Am I close?

Any tips, advice, or download links are deeply appreciated! Thanks, I'm pretty new to computering :/

I think the Realtec gigabit ethernet is what you need. Make sure that's the right one for your model of PC and install it.

i had that same problem to, heres what i did, reinstall windows till ur driver install correctly, i had done it brought driver onto the pc, bascily did it all nothing worked so i reinstalled windows like 5 times and it finally worked
